Ensembling
Ensembling is about a group of people assembling the parts of a publication.
It's for comment and markup - but not tied to everyone having
access to the same proprietary applications.
It's an online filestore - but you can see and read the content.
It's a version control tool - but for publications not programs.
Using Ensembling to gather materials together for review, collation of comments and
publication you can:
- store files online and download them again, singly or in bulk
- gather together all the files which make up a publication
- see and mark up documents with comments
- list, respond to, approve or reject comments
- supersede a document with a newer version (while still being able to get at the older
versions and any associated commentary)
- be notified about changes to a file or group of files (and any comments on them)
- make files available (“publish”) for collection by others
